Toronto in ASCII Art

I found this ASCII Art of the Toronto skyline. It was submitted to ASCIIXchange and left as “artist unknown”. A shame, cause I’d like to see what else they created. Also, I’m not that far from Toronto myself.

This (below) is my own skyline of Toronto done in ASCII art. Made several years ago, when there was still an Eaton’s company in the Eaton’s Centre downtown in Toronto.

Merry Christmas!

I will be away for the holidays. Visiting my sister and all her kids.

Have a great holiday season, do something you especially want to do just for yourself sometime between Christmas and the New Year.

Creative Christmas Tree Art

I made this one out of fruit, just for fun.

Little Red Christmas Tree

Photos taken day and night of the little red tinsel tree I picked up a Zellers on their Midnight Madness sale. It started at $20 but I bought it for $4. Luckily this one had all the parts: tree, stand, ornaments and lights. I also bought a gold one which is missing the ornaments and stand. I will have to take that one back. Maybe I can find one to exchange it for. Would be pretty to have a gold and a red tree up in one of the big windows.

Tiny Snowman from a Car Sales Flyer

In the flyer it is much smaller than this. Cute.

Happy Birthday to Me

I just got a birthday card from my Mom.

Daughter,

You are the author of your own life.

It’s up to you to dream it, imagine it, sketch it, shape it, build it, go after it, and make it happen.

And then colour it in with bright, shining shades of joy and deep, lasting shades of meaning that are yours and yours alone.

No one else can know the dreams you dream or the strengths you have within you that will help you make your dreams come true.

No one else needs to.

Because they’re yours.

And so it today.

Happy Birthday.
