Can You Spot the Bug?

I spotted a praying mantis at one of the houses I was photographing today. Can you find it in the grass? This photo was the easiest to find him/ her in. It’s been a long time since I have seen one of these.

This was a great coffee place. I went here while touring around looking for derelict places. The coffee shop is just behind the main street of Stayner, on William.

Found an old photo of me as we were moving. Pretty cute, eh? I’m not sure how old I would have been there, maybe 9, 10 or 11. Something like that I think.

I’m going to get back into the swing of things soon. I have some interesting news about at least one thing (even though I’m likely the only one who has a lot of interest in it). I’ve been to a few more old, abandoned places.
I miss my blog and all the junk drawer stuff I have been keeping here. I miss reading your blogs (you know who you are) too. My computer is back up but we are expecting a guy to come paint the inside of the house this weekend (cross fingers) and then I can actually move furniture where I want it and begin to feel I actually live here.
Ubuntu Newbie Today

I have installed and am running Ubuntu as an OS (operating system) today. Will see how it goes. Not much time to play around as we had planned a road trip this weekend. I`m just putting off taking that last load of stuff out of the car.
Odd things are different with Ubuntu. Some of the keyboard keys don`t work as they should or would usually.

I have my computer hooked up again and may even get back with a real post tonight. The new house is a maze of boxes and furniture. The floors are done but a guy is coming to paint the house on Tuesday and Wednesday. So we still can’t really put much away and make the place livable for anything other than crickets and the occasional rodent.

This is a house in Alliston. I went there when it seemed light enough, early one morning. The pictures are all still really dark. Darker than it was as I was standing there taking them.
I should be moved and have my computer hooked up after this weekend.
