Blog Fodder: What is the best kitchen gadget that you own that you can’t live without?
I don’t have gadgets. Just a pink can opener, a microwave and the one cup coffee filter/ funnel thing that I used for…. coffee making. No high tech involved. But the coffee thing is my favourite, one I miss now that it is packed up for moving. I’m going out for coffee these days or just doing without until I can unpack it all again.

Blog Talkers Weekly … If you could go back in time, what one piece advice would you give yourself?
Question submitted by: Shawna
Don’t take this the wrong way… but you’re going to die. Live well while you can. Spend less time considering what others think of you. Most of the time they have their own problems and won’t even notice you. Don’t give your time and energy to the people who only give you back negativity. Enjoy life, be less afraid of making mistakes. Do the things you have always wanted to do. Trust yourself more, a lot more.

Understand the Target

Today on the radio I must have had CBC on. They were talking about marketing. Kind of an interesting topic. I like the science behind it. Not so much the results.
Anyway, an interesting quote (which I don’t have word perfect): “People don’t want to be targeted, they want to be understood.” This was in reference to ads being targeted to groups of people. It was an interesting discussion.
I am away at Alliston. On Monday, very early, I will be taking my brother and Mom to the Toronto airport. I found a ghost town, Ballycroy, which is not very far from here and I could go there and see what I find for photos on the way back here.
